Great free parking in back and you can walk through the back door past the ghetto bar and kitchen. The staff there is super friendly and nice! Food comes out fast and hot and tasty! Take my advice and ask for no oil and make sure they don't butter your Roti. Order Basmati Rice, too, because you need it for the table and to mix everything with.

With India being one of the largest importers of Soybean & Palm Oil you know its hard to get a healthy vegan dish that's not swimming in either! Chandni is the exception! When ever we get our Indian Food craving on we head down the street to this Santa Monica staple and get our dishes done oil free and extra spicy. They are always happy to accommodate our strange request & very vegan knowledgeable (the place is 100% veg).

Our usually run down is Papadam appetizer / Basmati Rice / Roti w/o oil brushed on it / Chana Masala w/o oil / Aloo Gobi or in the picture below it was a Potato & Green bean dish. As long as you order w/o oil and extra spicy it does the trick! They'll bring hot sauce to your table, too.
