Late Night Vegan Food

Late Night Vegan Food

Postby lex on Fri Aug 08, 2008 4:57 pm

This topic is a bit of a mess because I merged a whole forum about late night vegan eats into one here.
-Toi On Sunset until 3 or 4am
- The Waffle on Sunday until 2 or 4am
- Swingers in Santa Monica or West Hollwood (2am?)
- Fred 62 has one Tofu dish 24x7 I believe
- 24hr Subways exist around LA (veggie delight)

Portions are large. I suggest the Red-Yellow Curry Noodles if you like spicy with a side of brown rice. Enough for 2!

You can usually find me here around 3am on the weekend inhaling the Rueban with Waffle fries and a strawberry shake.

Thank you! I got my inspiration from PostPunkKitchen.com, but we totally needed an LA version more focused on getting out of our houses and sharing fun things to do,see, eat, drink. I fizzled out at making more Post Icons because my graphic design skills aren't good enough, but I hope to have a friend remake all the post icons/labels to aid in organizing it better.

Ok, so I can't write a review here because I've only sat down and scanned the menu finding only Tofu Chilaquile and getting up and heading to The Waffle.
Parking sucks. If you go late you can park at the Post Office supposedly! Other than that I suggest a bicycle. Its far as hell away unless you live in Los Feliz.

Please any Los Feliz vegans share some info on this joint! I really like the atmosphere / hip crowd, but what's good here? A 24hr establishment that has vegan options is great, but nothing really jumped out at me amongst all the dead and liquid meat.
