I went the the newish Whole Foods in Venice a few weeks ago and was BLOWN AWAY by all the vegan options. It was amazing. They had vegan mexican food, ice cream, pasta, chocolates, a salad bar and TONS of vegan alcohol. hollllller.

I really want an ice cream maker, too!!! Have you seen those ice cream maker balls that they sell at camping stores? You fill them up and shake them and pass them around to shake, etc. Its like a work out!

I finally visited the Pasadena Arroyo Whole Foods, I was so happy to see all the vegan stuff there!!

I must visit the Venice Whole Foods soon also. It's so great these places are carrying so much vegan stuff.

Seriously Lex! :D Can't believe it took me so long to go over there. I've already made plans to meet my mom at that Whole Foods next week so we can order a vegan pizza together and share it. I like how the vegan things are clearly marked and set aside. I must say the staff was very helpful too, they walked around with me pointing out all the vegan stuff available. It's all on the second floor, I think, you take the escalator to go up.

I looked at all the vegan items in their deli and in the desserts section, but I forgot to peruse the frozen aisle! I'll check it out next time, I'm hoping they have lots of vegan stuff there too, like ice-creams and frozen dinners and appetizers and such.

It seems like all the Whole Foods stores have lots of vegan stuff but some have more than others. I think it depends on where the store is and what type of consumers live int the area. I would think Venice would probably have the most vegan food because of the large population of vegans and vegetarians whereas other stores in other areas probably don't have as many vegans.
