Vegan Drinks

I just started Vegan Drinks on MeetUp.com and I'll be hosting the first party on Sept 26th (its a Friday) at Akasha. I figure it'll be a small turn out and since Akasha is about the only place in LA that has a large Bar (with bar stools) and Vegan Food, it'd be a good, but pricey place to begin. Vegan Drinks is awesome! I was just out with the LA/OC/Long Beach veggie group last night and everyone was raving about it. 1/2 the people have been to some Vegan Drinks events, others are just itching to go. LA Vegans like to drink and lex makes it way fun!

Thanks for the post Michelle! We just added a Facebook group for Vegan Drinks and I'm trying to figure out a last minute extension to the party this Saturday so we can all meetup after Locali (which is very small and could only fit a few of us)

We've been thinking about a meetup there for a LONG time. Unfortunately, we've already got our hands full with the Halloween Party. Someone needs to make a downtown vegans group! There is a serious need to representation down there, there are a lot of good Vegan eats down there and they are mostly a mystery to me!
