The entire menu has a vegan option if not already vegan. The soy cheese is NOT vegan, BUT they have a fantastic tofu sauce that is way better than the best vegan cheese. Sante has been remodeled for Kitchen Nightmares http://www.fox.com/kitchennightmares/ and has a really cool new vibe. Aside from its old sister restaurant A Vortre Sante (Brentwood) its the ONLY place you can get healthy vegan food (IE not covered in fat/oil/soy protein/fried). The food is fantastic. I really don't think you can go wrong with any menu item. They also have a fantastic beer selection and vegan desserts.

Gordon hosts Kitchen Nightmares. Sante was hurting I guess and got on Kitchen Nightmares. They pretty much axed his whole menu for their old menu in which EVERY item can be made vegan if its not already. We'll see what the story is when their episode airs next month after the elections.

Bottom line is that Sante has the healthiest vegan food in town and it tastes fantastic.

thanks I really need to get a life, but I think you can relate with an obsessed vegan foodie! We ate at A Votre Sante (used to be related to Sante Cuisine) in Brentwood tonight and its a touch better, just less vegan options (still plenty, though)

My husband & I watched and recorded it. It was kinda cool being able to recognize the place and some of the workers.

We really hope they get a lot of good publicity and more business from being on that show.

I'm sure glad I didn't eat there before the show, but they really got their act together! I didn't even realize that was his son (guy with the beard). It seems like they canned the cook & manager because I've never seen either of them, that's probably why its so good now, lol. I also like how Gordon made them a tofu dish, I had no idea I could try Gordon Ramsey Grilled Tofu, I never even looked at that menu because I figured it wouldn't have anything for me.
