First off..."the guy" and the "employee inside" were Doomie and myself...and yes we did get in a car accident one morning, and we totally remember you! So sorry about that!

Second: to Lex...and anyone, really: well, as far as help goes, if you know of any restaurant that is closed/is closing, a heads up to that would help. And more importantly if you know of any investors or would like to invest yourself, that is the biggest help of all. To any inquiring investors: we already have a huge, steady clientelle and have much more room to gain even more as we have not yet promoted to the extent that we wanted, so success in business and income isn't a question...we just need the funds to open back up!

Doomie's will be making and selling food three places this weekend!

We will be selling slightly cheaper, party oriented food (food that wasn't on menu at Doomie's) here.

And then Saturday and Sunday we will be having a $10 all you can eat deal to get rid of all our perishables. We will be accepting and greatly appreciating any donations towards reopening Doomie's...every dollar helps! Hope to see some of you guys there!

Yay! I still have a chance to try some Doomie's awesome goodness! Hubby says we can go to Pasadena tonight. :D

OMG, $10 all you can eat vegan comfort food sounds soooo good. Maybe I can convince him we need to hit up Saturday's event too. Gotta support our vegan businesses! :D :D

Melanie, in what part of town are you hoping to reopen Doomie's? What monthly rent are you looking for?

The location for Sunday is now confirmed. A big thanks to Sarah from the Vegan Spot and her boyfriend Laban for letting us use their location! Hopefully this will be a bit more convenient for some people!

I just got back from day 1. I am in a food coma. The pot roast was soooo good, I had, like, 5 servings. The chili burger was delicious, the mac & cheese was awesome, and the ranch dressing was amazing. I so regret not making it over there while they were in business.

I had to leave when I saw them whipping up mashed potatoes because I was definitely pushing maximum density. Thank god they didn't have desserts.

They may not end up having the cheesesteaks tomorrow, but will most likely have the fried stuff. I want to try that fried chicken!
